CPD Sanctions

As previously communicated (in July 2016), this year we are introducing sanctions for teachers that do not meet their annual CPD requirement.

Sanctions have been put in place following a three year introduction period of the scheme. This gave us the time to review and make developments to ensure that the scheme is fair and effective.

Teachers who did not met their minimum CPD requirement by 30 June may now become subject to these sanctions, which have been created to follow a staged process.

The scheme is not in place to penalise you; if you have any concerns about meeting your CPD requirement, we advise that you get in touch with us as soon as possible.

This will not be applicable to the majority of teachers who will have met their CPD requirement. For more information, download the Guide to Sanctions on the RAD website.
